Good design is thorough down to the last detail, it is environmentally friendly, long lasting, and transcends limitations. It is unobtrusive and aesthetic. It acknowledges functional requirements and addresses the psychological needs of society. It is a mean of conveying ideas, attitudes and values.
I consider the environmental impact of my designs, which means overcoming potential barriers to environmentally conscious design, considering the consequences of design decisions and knowing what questions to ask during the design process. All good designers ask good questions.
blkcatdesign has the philosophy that quality design and communication, along with great service and exemplary work ethic, can make a positive impact on my clients and in turn a positive impact on theirs.
I love what I do and I couldn’t do it alone. My long term client relationships is fundamental to my success and I continue to provide an exemplary service to fulfil my clients ambitions. Keeping up-to-date knowledge of industry, software and professional approach to time, costs and deadlines, all contributes to nourish that relationship.
Whether it is a big or small project I'm determined to accomplish distinctive and successful design solutions. To me, each project is always treated as unique and any constrains will only be seen as
a fascinating challenge.
blkcatdesign provides a comprehensive range of services across print, identity and new media design.
My aim is to deliver powerful design across print and web – enabling my clients to stand out from
the crowd, communicate their message, inspire action, increase their profits and achieve their goals.
I work with other skilful associates to provide web development, copywriting, photography and illustration. Recently I partnered with Orium Design an interior architecture practice with vast experience in a number of blue chip companies, retail, leisure and branded environments.
Collaborating with like-minded creatives and entrepreneurs who too recognise and value good design
allows us to create better inspiring work.
Some of the clients I have worked with in the past and present.
If you’ve got a project you’d like to discuss with me or just want to send me your thoughts,

I strongly feel that designers have a high social responsibility for reducing the carbon footprint of every
design project, and for that reason, I adhere to specific guidelines on all our creative projects. Waste is kept
to a minimum and sustainable resources and recycled products are used whenever possible. Where I am able
I consider purchases carefully, bulk buying to avoiding excessive packaging. All paper and stationery is either recycled or from pre-consumer waste sources, whenever I print I use both sides of the paper and any waste products are recyclable I ensure they are recycled. I encourage the use and practise of environmentally friendly design methods and materials, and make my work available electronically to my clients in order to minimise landfill. I use mugs instead of disposable cups and use energy saving lightbulbs. I donate any
obsolete equipment, furniture, books etc. to charity shops and/or recognised recycling schemes.
There are organisations who I choose not to work with under any circumstances: those knowingly involved
with animal testing, meat or fur production, and organisations shown to have questionable human rights or environmental records.
In an ever more competitive world, social responsibility is the right choice in every sense.
